The smallest panda to survive known as Wu Shi Er Ke (which means 51 grams in Chinese) at one month and 20 days old rests in a plastic box. Wu Shi Er Ke now weights just over 200 grams. The panda was born at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding and Research Institute in Sichuan Province, China. The Institute had a record of ten surviving births this year.
