The dominant male Aman at Matang Reserve, Sarawak, Malaysia, August 2009.  Aman, who was rescued from a Sarawak market in 1989, is part of Sarawaks's Orangutang Rehabilitation Programme and was once blind. He was operated in 2007 thanks to funds from a UK charity, Orangutan Appeal UK,  and can now see in a world first operation.  The Matang center is coordinated by British man Leo Biddle<br />
